What is Tesamorelin?

Tesamorelin is a research-use-only synthetic growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) analog based on GHRH(1–44), typically N-terminally modified (e.g. trans-3-hexenoyl) for improved stability versus native GHRH. It engages GHRH receptors on somatotroph models, coupling to Gs–adenylyl cyclase–cAMP pathways studied in GH-axis and endocrine signalling research. Not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
